Group Bookings at Hujan Locale
Hujan Locale is an intimate room in the heart of Ubud: 34 seats in the main dining room and 8 on the balcony. The menu is served family-style, which makes it a natural place for a long table: sates and dumplings to start, curries, whole fish and plates for the centre, sambals passed from hand to hand.
For a group, the kitchen does the choosing: the group set menus are on the Group Dining page. For more than 20 guests, the entire dining room is reserved for your group.

Questions we are often asked
What kind of occasions do you host?
Birthdays, family gatherings, company dinners, rehearsal dinners and the long lunches that turn into afternoons.
How many guests before we need to contact you?
For more than 10 guests, please contact us by email at reservation@hujanlocale.com or through the form on the Group Dining page, and we will send the terms for your group.
When do we need a set menu?
Groups of 15 to 20 guests require either a pre-order or one of our set menus.
Which set menus are there for groups?
The group set menus, with what is served, are on the Group Dining page.
Can we have the restaurant to ourselves?
Yes. For more than 20 guests the entire dining room is reserved exclusively for your group, with a minimum spend. See Private Events.
Is a deposit required?
Groups of 20 guests or more require a deposit of IDR 200,000 per person. Private dining requires a 50% deposit of the minimum spend.
How far ahead should we book?
As early as you can, particularly for a weekend or for high season. If the date is close, send a WhatsApp message to +62 813 5326 0275.

Sharing gives the menu its natural rhythm. A plate arrives, someone offers a taste and the meal becomes a conversation of its own.
The same spirit welcomes a larger gathering. Birthdays, reunions and dinners with friends belong comfortably here, around a table with something for everyone to reach for. Tell us who is coming, and we will help you plan the meal.
The townhouse after dark
As afternoon gives way to evening, the townhouse offers another reason to settle in. Dinner continues, drinks are poured and, on Keroncong nights, every Tuesday and Friday, live music becomes part of the room.
The musicians bring another expression of Indonesian heritage to Hujan Locale. Alongside regional cooking, their performance gives the evening a connection to the people who keep that music present today.
Come for dinner and make time to listen. A shared meal, a familiar melody or a song heard for the first time can each give you a reason to stay a little longer.
On Wednesday and Saturday nights it is Sesi Dapur: DJs playing oldies-but-goodies Indonesian tunes, with a short list of cocktails made for the night.
